One Health is defined as a collaborative, multisectoral, and interdisciplinary approach, with the goal of achieving optimal health outcomes by means of recognizing the interconnection between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment. The Field Epidemiology & Disease Surveillance Division (FE&DSD) of National Institute of Health, organized a lecture on “One Health”. The lecture was based on the experience of Dr. Najma Javed (Senior Medical Officer), Dr. Amna Ali (Research Officer), Dr. Farooq Tahir (Technical Advisor, One Health) during the One Health Training at Duke University, USA
