The National Institute of Health (NIH), Islamabad  has been designated as National Public Health Institute (NPHI) with the mandate to function as a focal point for International Health Regulations(IHR-2005) and different areas of Global Health Security Agenda. The NIH with Centre on Global Health Security, Chatham House UK jointly organized a workshop on Strengthening National Accountability and Preparedness for Global Health Security (SNAP-GHS) at Islamabad. The event included Indicators prioritization exercise for the Monitoring and Evaluation of Knowledge and Data sharing and Trade and Travel restrictions.Participants with a back ground of Monitoring and Evaluation, Data Management, Health Surveys, Health Planning & Disease Surveillance from national and sub national levels along with WHO, PHE and USAID attended the workshop.
