Central Library

NIH Central Library is a specialized Bio-Medical Library which was established in 1967.  It is also the designated National Focal of World Health Organization for Pakistan since 1978 and playing vital role to promote the Health Literature Information services with kind co-operation of WHO.

 This Library is fulfilling the scientific information needs of the entire set up of NIH (doctors, scientists & researchers) including CMLT students and also facilitates the other Medical/Scientific Organizations of the country in relation to their on going day to day research activities by providing reprints of periodical articles, reports, CD-ROM MEDLINE searches and INTERNET searches etc.

 WHO provides their publications (books, journals, technical reports CD-ROMs & MEDLINE database) to this library on regular basis due to be their NFP center. The Library covers about 32 different subject areas of health and biomedical sciences.
